Spectators: 8080 (Terracing: 6062, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sammy Nixon kicked off to start the match. Tyron Fry hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Chris Reyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Saucedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mountain West FC's Orhan Seyfi Sancar got a free kick in the 6th minute. Sammy Nixon struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ivan Saucedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mountain West FC. Sammy Nixon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Saucedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sammy Nixon in the 10th minute. Angelo Dumas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Angelo Dumas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Saucedo, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Dumas in the 17th minute of play forced Acushnet's goalkeeper Ivan Saucedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acushnet's Ivan Saucedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Nixon in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Nixon got free with Ivan Saucedo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Acushnet's Ivan Saucedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Acushnet from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute of the match, Chris Reyna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivan Saucedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ivan Saucedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Seyfi Sancar in the 31st minute of the match. When Sammy Nixon came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Mountain West FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Nixon couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes of play, Mountain West FC's Sammy Nixon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Saucedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Dumas got free with Ivan Saucedo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the game, Mountain West FC's Angelo Dumas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Saucedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ivan Saucedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Nixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Downing to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Acushnet got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Easley. Ivan Saucedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Nixon in the 56th minute of play. Ivan Saucedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Reyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Acushnet's Oswaldo Easley got a free kick in the 61st minute. Acushnet's Ivan Saucedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Nixon in the 63rd minute of play. Ivan Saucedo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Mountain West FC's Angelo Dumas. But to his dismay, Angelo Dumas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 68 played minutes Acushnet got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Levine. 71 minutes into the match, Acushnet's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Dumas came free, but Ivan Saucedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mountain West FC booed when Acushnet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Easley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Chris Reyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acushnet's attentive Hal Hemphill managed to snatch the ball when Virgilio Whitney made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Sammy Nixon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Saucedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Orhan Seyfi Sancar took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Saucedo. Ivan Saucedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Acushnet's Ivan Saucedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Nixon in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Acushnet defense, Leif Donaldson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Saucedo. The Acushnet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Saucedo should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mountain West FC fully deserved thier win.
