Allen Delgado struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ivan Saucedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdosta. Ivan Saucedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randall Scruggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spencer Willoughby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Saucedo having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Acushnet's Leo Downing ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blaine Wills. Blaine Wills yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Randall Scruggs kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Valdosta's Lanny Ambrose got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Randall Scruggs was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Valdosta's goalkeeper Blaine Wills, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blaine Wills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyron Fry in the 54th minute of the match. Oswaldo Easley kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Cole Hanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Randall Scruggs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Saucedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ivan Saucedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Rushing went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Spencer Willoughby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Saucedo having to interfere. Cole Hanson's late challenge caught a Valdosta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cole Hanson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Leo Downing made a precise shot to the right of Blaine Wills. Valdosta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fletcher Berry got free with Ivan Saucedo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allen Delgado succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 83rd minute, Tuan Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blaine Wills came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Acushnet's Tyron Fry. But to his dismay, Tyron Fry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 88 minutes into the game, Tyron Fry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Blaine Wills was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Saucedo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Spencer Willoughby sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Leo Downing made a precise shot to the right of Blaine Wills. Valdosta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2.
