In the 2nd match minute, Las Vegas Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Mercer to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Las Vegas Futbol Club's Jonas Caballero got control of the ball when Angelo Dumas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Caballero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Reyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes Mountain West FC got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Seyfi Sancar. The supporters of Las Vegas Futbol Club booed when Mountain West FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Seyfi Sancar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Las Vegas Futbol Club's Jonas Caballero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Las Vegas Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Jeffrey Hollandsworth's late challenge caught a Mountain West FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffrey Hollandsworth helped the player get up and apologised. Jeffrey Hollandsworth hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Dallas Holbrook had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roy Holman. Mountain West FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dallas Holbrook was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 23rd play minute Angelo Dumas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonas Caballero. 2-1. Jonas Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Nixon in the 26th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Mountain West FC's Angelo Dumas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Caballero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 33 played minutes Mountain West FC got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Cote. Angelo Dumas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Caballero came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelo Dumas slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 36th minute. Jonas Caballero came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Mountain West FC's Angelo Dumas. But to his dismay, Angelo Dumas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 43 minutes of play, Las Vegas Futbol Club's Jeffrey Hollandsworth made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roy Holman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Las Vegas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jonas Caballero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Dumas.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curt Lay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Mountain West FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Whitney to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mountain West FC's Roy Holman got control of the ball when Dallas Holbrook tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeffrey Hollandsworth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roy Holman. That made the score 5-3 in the 55 minute of play. Jonas Caballero came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Mountain West FC's Chris Reyna. But to his dismay, Chris Reyna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. 62 minutes into the match, Las Vegas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Nixon came free, but Jonas Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mountain West FC's Roy Holman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey Hollandsworth in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Matthew Mercer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Vegas Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mountain West FC the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Las Vegas Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Mercer to maneuver through the defense. Van Walls took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Caballero. Las Vegas Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonas Caballero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Dumas in the 70th minute of play. Stanley Ramsey made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dallas Holbrook however managed to control. Jonas Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Donaldson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calvin Cayla scored 8-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Caballero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Leif Donaldson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Chris Reyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Montrel Belber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Caballero was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-3.
