The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivan Saucedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Bachman, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyron Fry got free with Cedric Abbott in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mark Monroe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Saucedo having to interfere. Ivan Saucedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Bachman in the 25th minute of the match. Raymond Landers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ivan Saucedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Saucedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Bonds in the 28th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Cedric Abbott successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tyron Fry's late challenge caught a INTER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyron Fry helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Tyron Fry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Tyron Fry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acushnet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyron Fry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quincy Maher in the 46th minute of play forced Acushnet's goalkeeper Ivan Saucedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Tony Bonds ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Saucedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovanni Bachman to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tony Bonds came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Bonds couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Acushnet's goalkeeper Ivan Saucedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni Bachman. In the 57th minute Tyron Fry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Abbott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quincy Maher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Saucedo. Acushnet's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donald Quintero kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Giovanni Bachman's late challenge caught a Acushnet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Bachman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Giovanni Bachman got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyron Fry in the 62nd minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Cedric Abbott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the INTER FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
