The audience was convinced that Giovanni Bachman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lincoln Beal was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Tomas Bowden kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eusebio Aguirre sped through INTER FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cedric Abbott. Raymond Landers hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cedric Abbott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Aguirre in the 16th minute of play. Errol Schmitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cedric Abbott. INTER FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. INTER FC's Cedric Abbott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Rose in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Thunder FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Barber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Bachman in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lincoln Beal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovanni Bachman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Beal having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Flint Easley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Barber charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Barber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Thunder FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Barber. In the 37th minute, Alistair Metzger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Barber in the 42nd minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Cedric Abbott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Eusebio Aguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cedric Abbott was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Cedric Abbott came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Thunder FC's Eusebio Aguirre. But to his dismay, Eusebio Aguirre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovanni Bachman to strike the kick off in the second half. Alistair Metzger's late challenge caught a INTER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alistair Metzger helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Thunder FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Metzger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, INTER FC's Tomas Bowden seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomas Bowden the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of INTER FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomas Bowden had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jesus Donaldson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blair Rose took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cedric Abbott. Cedric Abbott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 70 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Donaldson. Eusebio Aguirre struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Cedric Abbott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thunder FC. In the 78th minute Eusebio Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Abbott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jesus Donaldson came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Donaldson couldn't finish the play. Ferdinand Barber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Cedric Abbott made a huge save. Blair Rose struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Cedric Abbott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thunder FC. After some careless play in the INTER FC defense, Eusebio Aguirre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cedric Abbott. The INTER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cedric Abbott should have stopped the shot. Ferdinand Barber in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cedric Abbott, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
