Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blair Merritt took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, South Beach FC's Fletcher Cassidy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rueben Ryan was left in no man's land by his defense there! South Beach FC's Lyle Irvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kareem Richter in the 7th minute of play. Rueben Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Thomason in the 9th minute of play. Damian Pack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lyle Irvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Blair Merritt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virga City Vipers's supporters rose to their feet, but Blair Merritt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lyle Irvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rueben Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Thomason in the 18th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Virga City Vipers got a freekick which was hit by Damian Pack. In the 22nd minute of the match Lonnie Luke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lyle Irvin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lyle Irvin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Virga City Vipers's Blair Merritt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 30th minute Milton Hammond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rueben Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blair Merritt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florian Hood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Irvin having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Florian Hood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virga City Vipers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Hood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Virga City Vipers defense, Milton Hammond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rueben Ryan. The Virga City Vipers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rueben Ryan should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Virga City Vipers's Chase Harrington got a free kick in the 44th minute. The Virga City Vipers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. South Beach FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milton Hammond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damian Pack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilbur Cormier hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Virga City Vipers's Edmundo Zaragoza got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leroy Thomason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rueben Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Hammond, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Damian Pack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Irvin having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Blair Merritt sped through South Beach FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lyle Irvin. Darryl Altman kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Blair Merritt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milton Hammond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rueben Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyle Irvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Merritt, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Darryl Altman kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Blair Merritt got free in front of the goal in the 84th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Lyle Irvin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Virga City Vipers fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Virga City Vipers's Blair Merritt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Virga City Vipers fully deserved thier win.
