Carlo van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Hopson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Wayne Zepeda took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo van der Schans. Carlo van der Schans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Pedro Tipton made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Reyes Edmondson immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Mathews AFC defense, Weston Rader kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ethan Frey. The Mathews AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ethan Frey should have stopped the shot. Weston Rader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Weston Rader managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pacific Richmond AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Weston Rader was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ethan Frey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edip Özaltuğ in the 66th minute of play forced Mathews AFC's goalkeeper Ethan Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Pedro Hopson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Sylvester Todd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlo van der Schans skillfully saved the ball. Ethan Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weston Rader, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 97th minute, Edip Özaltuğ reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ethan Frey. The goal made the score 2-4. When the match was over Pacific Richmond AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mathews AFC throughout the match.
