The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denny Calvert showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, AYG SK's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Merritt came free, but Denny Calvert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Hood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremy Beard's late challenge caught a Virga City Vipers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremy Beard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, AYG SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremy Beard to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes, Virga City Vipers's Lonnie Luke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denny Calvert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Virga City Vipers reached it. 12 minutes into the match, Cruz McCann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rueben Ryan, 1-0. Lewis Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rdth minute of the game Blair Merritt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AYG SK's Denny Calvert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monte Goldsmith struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Denny Calvert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virga City Vipers. When Monte Goldsmith came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Virga City Vipers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monte Goldsmith couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Edmundo Zaragoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Blair Merritt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AYG SK's Denny Calvert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Larry Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rueben Ryan made a huge save. Denny Calvert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Merritt, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AYG SK's zone, Blair Merritt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denny Calvert came out of the goal and Blair Merritt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Monte Goldsmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Calvert having to interfere. Rueben Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Denny Calvert managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Virga City Vipers's Blair Merritt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rueben Ryan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lewis Marino went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When Blair Merritt came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Virga City Vipers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blair Merritt couldn't finish the play. After 75 minutes, Blair Merritt made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. AYG SK's Denny Calvert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rueben Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Marino in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Florian Hood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denny Calvert skillfully saved the ball. If Blair Merritt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monte Goldsmith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Denny Calvert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Larry Wallace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rueben Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blair Merritt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denny Calvert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
