After 2 played minutes Itta Bena got a freekick which was hit by Graig Foreman. Lenny Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Barka booed when Itta Bena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Hawk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joshua Ashby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Hager's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. A collision led to Itta Bena getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sanford Egan hit a great ball. A hard shot 15 in the game by Sanford Egan from a close distance when the talented Scot Davila managed to make a qualified save. Barka's players were relieved. Stephan Cowan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Cesar Dillon made a precise shot to the right of Joshua Ashby. Itta Bena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sanford Egan had several of the Barka's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Scot Davila as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Hager in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joshua Ashby saved Itta Bena from getting behind. Sanford Egan succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Joe Hawk kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Tom Hager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sanford Egan made a kick off. Tom Hager struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Joshua Ashby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barka. Scot Davila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanford Egan in the 54th minute of play. Scot Davila came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Itta Bena's Sanford Egan. But to his dismay, Sanford Egan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 57th minute Sanford Egan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scot Davila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Barka's goal looked a bit too open when Sanford Egan came free, but Scot Davila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Dillon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Joshua Ashby made a huge save. Filiberto Salazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joshua Ashby came out and tried to block the shot, but Filiberto Salazar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 62nd minute. Filiberto Salazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Joshua Ashby made a huge save. Sanford Egan might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Scot Davila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sanford Egan ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the game, Itta Bena's Lenny Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scot Davila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The supporters of Barka booed when Itta Bena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Winston didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Sanford Egan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Scot Davila was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Lenny Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Itta Bena's Serafim Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Itta Bena fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Itta Bena's Sanford Egan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
