After some careless play in the Redford defense, 尤明广 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Todd Welsh. The Redford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Todd Welsh should have stopped the shot. If Clark Holloway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Todd Welsh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Uguccioni, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 38th minute Alessio Uguccioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todd Welsh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that 尤明广's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Todd Welsh was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Todd Welsh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clark Holloway in the 47th minute of the match. The Redford players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. American Airlines were winning 0-7.

In the 51st minute, Clark Holloway had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 51 minutes into the game, Sydney Locke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave American Airlines the free kick. American Airlines's Morgan Cronshagen was substituted for Clark Holloway. A collision led to Redford getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sydney Locke hit a great ball. Todd Welsh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Uguccioni in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, American Airlines's Teobaldo Maldonado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Todd Welsh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Merlin Cermak hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Luar. Todd Welsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Cronshagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todd Welsh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 尤明广 went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Todd Welsh came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by American Airlines's 尤明广. But to his dismay, 尤明广 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Todd Welsh stood somewhat misplaced when Alessio Uguccioni came free in front of goal and shot 0-13 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Todd Welsh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Uguccioni in the 90th minute of the match. Todd Welsh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Uguccioni, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
