Spectators: 7987 (Terracing: 5991, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) After 7 played minutes, Barka's Dirk Burkett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olin Izturis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barka reached it. In the 13th minute, Filiberto Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Logan Alvaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barka's Filiberto Salazar got a free kick in the 16th minute. Domenic Barajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Scot Davila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes Barka got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Dillon. Domenic Barajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Scot Davila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Logan Alvaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Logan Alvaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scot Davila having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Barka got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Salazar. Olin Izturis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Hager, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Olin Izturis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kraken AFC booed when Barka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Hager didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olin Izturis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Hager in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Logan Alvaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Perdue got free with Olin Izturis in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olin Izturis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Hager, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Garry Bouchard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kraken AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Garry Bouchard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Scot Davila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kraken AFC's Olin Izturis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Salazar in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Tom Hager tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olin Izturis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Logan Alvaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Dillon's late challenge caught a Kraken AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Dillon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barka's Cesar Dillon got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Kraken AFC's Olin Izturis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kraken AFC from getting a goal against them. Olin Izturis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Dillon in the 89th minute. Logan Alvaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Scot Davila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Logan Alvaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Scot Davila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Logan Alvaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Filiberto Salazar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olin Izturis. The goal made the score 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
