Spectators: 7928 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 80) Cary Allen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Redford's Cary Allen got a free kick in the 5th minute. Redford's Todd Welsh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Thompson in the 9th minute of play. Redford were furious when Lee Villa was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of West Town Plot booed when Redford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Timmy Herrera fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redford's protests and gave Timmy Herrera a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes West Town Plot got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Melendez. Sydney Locke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Colby Sams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Redford's Todd Welsh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Redford from getting a goal against them. In the 25th match minute, Redford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Calvert to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Redford defense, Timothy Dale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Todd Welsh. The Redford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Todd Welsh should have stopped the shot. Thaddeus Stevens hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Edgar Thompson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Todd Welsh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Thompson in the 33rd minute of play forced Redford's goalkeeper Todd Welsh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Edgar Thompson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todd Welsh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Redford got a corner. West Town Plot's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cary Allen ran over to the corner to take the kick. 41 minutes into the match, Redford's goalkeeper Todd Welsh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timothy Dale. Todd Welsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Trimble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Redford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Town Plot the free kick. Cary Allen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Redford's Sydney Locke got a free kick in the 60th minute. Timmy Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. West Town Plot made a substitution. Joey Rowan replaced Salvador Trimble. Todd Welsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Dale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Jarod Hester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todd Welsh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Dale in the 76th minute of play forced Redford's goalkeeper Todd Welsh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Todd Welsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Dale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that West Town Plot were the better team. West Town Plot's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
