Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tobias Battle started the match with the kick off. Donovan Dillard came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Erma's Derek Cleveland. But to his dismay, Derek Cleveland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tobias Battle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Beal having to interfere. Derek Cleveland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donovan Dillard came out and tried to block the shot, but Derek Cleveland slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Joseph Cormier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Erma's Derek Cleveland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Romeo Boyer kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Winston Hutchison's late challenge caught a Marengo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Winston Hutchison helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Erma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwayne Nichols to maneuver through the defense. Chris Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoff Baker in the 30th minute of the match. Federico Gordon charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Gordon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Federico Gordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddie Annan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chris Beal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Erma booed when Marengo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cary Conrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winston Hutchison was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Winston Hutchison hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Erma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Gordon to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josiah Phelps was the one to do the kick off. Gustavo Murray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Beal having to interfere. In the 55th minute Tobias Battle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Beal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Josiah Phelps made a precise shot to the right of Donovan Dillard. Marengo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 63rd match minute, Erma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Woodson to maneuver through the defense. Erma's Chris Beal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Battle in the 64th minute of play. Freddie Annan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-2 in the 69th playminute. Tobias Battle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Chris Beal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Freddie Annan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Russ Mooney in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Timothy Woodson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Donovan Dillard quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rolando Hammer kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Romeo Boyer's late challenge caught a Erma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
