Thanks to some nice moves Erik Hawthorne could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Stewart Blue however easily saved by the left post. In the 15th match minute, Littorio Veneto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lonnie Lind to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, Galaxy's Aykutalp Adılhan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stewart Blue. Galaxy's Klement Olejasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Sewell in the 26th minute of play. Erik Hawthorne succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 28th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Adam Hook kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stewart Blue. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Hawthorne was the one to do the kick off. Ramon Davison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Blue having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Littorio Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Lonnie Lind. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mikael Häger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Littorio Veneto's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Häger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
