When Rosario Polk came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Winners 1988 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosario Polk couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rosario Polk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Hargrove was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Allan Wolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Winners 1988 FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Winners 1988 FC's Rosario Polk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26thth minute of the game Rosario Polk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PURDUE's Ramon Hargrove was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosario Polk in the 27th minute of play forced PURDUE's goalkeeper Ramon Hargrove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Winners 1988 FC's Rosario Polk in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PURDUE's goalie prevented a goal. PURDUE's Ramon Hargrove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Wolf in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to PURDUE getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Abdul Numbers hit a great ball. After some careless play in the PURDUE defense, Allan Wolf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Hargrove. The PURDUE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Hargrove should have stopped the shot. Ramon Hargrove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosario Polk's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Brent Weeks came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Winners 1988 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brent Weeks couldn't finish the play. Felix Virila struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ramon Hargrove didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winners 1988 FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosario Polk to make the kick off. Ramon Hargrove made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosario Polk in the 51st minute. 59 minutes into the game, Winners 1988 FC's Rosario Polk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Hargrove made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Felix Virila hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Winners 1988 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caleb West came free, but Hector Noel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PURDUE's Ramon Hargrove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Wolf in the 78th minute of play. Gilbert Banks kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Winners 1988 FC's Rosario Polk made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Hargrove was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosario Polk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Ramon Hargrove skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 90th match minute, PURDUE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdul Numbers to maneuver through the defense. Brent Weeks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosario Polks short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Ramon Hargrove to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Allan Wolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
