Freddy Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 minutes of play, Winners 1988 FC's Allan Wolf made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Roy was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 10 in the game by Rosario Polk from a close distance when the talented Freddy Roy managed to make a qualified save. Gates's players were relieved. 12 minutes into the game, Winners 1988 FC's Rosario Polk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Roy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Allan Wolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Freddy Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosario Polks short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Freddy Roy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Allan Wolf succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The supporters of Winners 1988 FC booed when Gates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Adkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4-0 came in the 36th minute when Rosario Polk all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Freddy Roy. Freddy Roy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosario Polk in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Rosario Polk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Freddy Roy, 5-0. Gates's Freddy Roy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Gates from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosario Polk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Allan Wolf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Roy was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 59 played minutes Gates got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Atarratze. In the 60th minute, Douglas DeJesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gates's Paolo Atarratze got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Winners 1988 FC's Allan Wolf in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gates's goalie prevented a goal. Paolo Atarratze kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Allan Wolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Freddy Roy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosario Polk went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Allan Wolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Roy having to interfere. Gates's Freddy Roy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosario Polk in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Allan Wolf notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Gates's Freddy Roy. Freddy Roy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Rosario Polk sped through Gates's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Roy. 95 minutes into the match, Gates's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Polk came free, but Freddy Roy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Allan Wolf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Roy was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0.
