Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lewes's Zachariah McCain got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Hatch in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donovan Dillard saved Marengo FC from getting behind. When Freddie Annan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Marengo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddie Annan couldn't finish the play. In the 8thth minute of the game Lenny Aranda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marengo FC's Donovan Dillard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lenny Aranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donovan Dillard having to interfere. Tanner Fish took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Battle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 20 minutes, Lenny Aranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lewes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenny Aranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddie Annan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Tobias Battle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanner Fish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanner Fish took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Battle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lewes's Tanner Fish played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Annan in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Tobias Battle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanner Fish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Romeo Boyer fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marengo FC's protests and gave Romeo Boyer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marengo FC's Romeo Boyer got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Freddie Annan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanner Fish showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Annan in the 48th minute of the match.

In the 55th minute, Marengo FC's Freddie Annan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. A collision led to Marengo FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gustavo Murray hit a great ball. Tanner Fish showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Battle, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Lenny Aranda came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Lewes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenny Aranda couldn't finish the play. Although Lewes had been in control for most of the match, Marengo FC still came away with the win.
