After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy's zone, Maurice Felton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klement Olejasz came out of the goal and Maurice Felton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurice Felton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. PURDUE's Ramon Hargrove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf LeBlanc in the 83rd minute of play. Klement Olejasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Felton, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes Galaxy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Austin Melendez who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Austin Melendez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Klement Olejasz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
