Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tanner Fish stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ding Mata's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Universitatea7 Cluj's Ding Mata ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tanner Fish. Tanner Fish yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Lewes getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Zachariah McCain hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Jonas Alvarenga took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tanner Fish to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ding Mata got free with Tanner Fish in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wendell Rooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tanner Fish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ding Mata was the one to do the kick off. Tanner Fish didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milo Schmitt went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Ding Mata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanner Fish was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Tanner Fish didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Universitatea7 Cluj's Ding Mata shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wendell Rooney in the 86th minute of play forced Lewes's goalkeeper Tanner Fish to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanner Fish stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ding Mata's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
