After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Rosario Polk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winners 1988 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosario Polk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris Beal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Erma's Federico Gordon got a free kick in the 12th minute. Rosario Polk scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chris Beal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erma's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Allan Wolf scored to the left of an out of position Chris Beal, making the score, 2-0. Winston Hutchison took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hector Noel. Winners 1988 FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rosario Polk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chris Beal came out and tried to block the shot, but Rosario Polk slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. Chris Beal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Erma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Winners 1988 FC:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rosario Polk made the kick off in the second half. Erma's Chris Beal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Wolf in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Rosario Polk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Beal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Erma booed when Winners 1988 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brent Weeks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Beal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Wolf in the 63rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Brent Weeks sped through Erma's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chris Beal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geraldo Lemons during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Winners 1988 FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Geraldo Lemons hit a great ball. Winston Hutchison's late challenge caught a Winners 1988 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Winston Hutchison helped the player get up and apologised. Winston Hutchison kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Hector Noel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Cleveland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Erma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominique Bartley to maneuver through the defense. When Winston Hutchison was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 95th minute, Allan Wolf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chris Beal was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Erma players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Winners 1988 FC.
