A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Crystal Falls AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Battle came free, but Matias Javier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marengo FC's Donovan Dillard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Marengo FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Battle to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Crystal Falls AFC's Matias Javier got control of the ball when Tobias Battle tried to sneak it across the goal line. One of Marengo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Crystal Falls AFC:s goal. Post out! 71 minutes into the match, Rufus Harrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donovan Dillard. Marengo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rufus Harrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Thurman Keller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donovan Dillard was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 77th match minute, Marengo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Battle to maneuver through the defense. The Marengo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donovan Dillard should have stopped the shot. In the 83rdth minute of the game Thurman Keller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marengo FC's Donovan Dillard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Crystal Falls AFC's Rufus Harrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donovan Dillard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Thurman Keller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Marengo FC defense, Rufus Harrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donovan Dillard. The Marengo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donovan Dillard should have stopped the shot. When Crystal Falls AFC's Thurman Keller in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marengo FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thurman Keller in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donovan Dillard saved Marengo FC from getting behind. In the 95th match minute, Crystal Falls AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Rowell to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Crystal Falls AFC had played much better football throughout.
