Spectators: 8021 (Terracing: 6018, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) Sal Norris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristopher Candido kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Ben Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monte Holcomb, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Ben Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Dickens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes American got a freekick which was hit by Cristopher Candido. After a rather tough play, American's Denis Perdue got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Rico Aguilera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ben Raymond skillfully saved the ball. Quentin Garza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sid Bowser's late challenge caught a Croatia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sid Bowser helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes American got a freekick which was hit by Sid Bowser. 17 minutes into the match, American's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Booth came free, but Ben Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Croatia FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Waddell. American's Nilson Velasco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Croatia FC's Oscar Booth got a free kick in the 25th minute. Nilson Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Quentin Garza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Croatia FC's goalkeeper Quentin Garza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilson Velasco. Edgar Waddell took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ben Raymond. Ben Raymond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nilson Velasco in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Quentin Garza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th match minute, Croatia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Waddell to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Nilson Velasco rounded Croatia FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilson Velasco to make the kick off. Monte Holcomb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ben Raymond made a huge save. Oscar Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hayden Williams kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Hayden Williams charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hayden Williams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes American got a freekick which was hit by Hayden Williams. In the 60th match minute, American was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Andrzejewski to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Croatia FC's Oscar Booth fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Rudolph Dickens fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia FC's protests and gave Rudolph Dickens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Croatia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolph Dickens to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes American got a freekick which was hit by Denis Perdue. In the 70th match minute, American was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abe Thomas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monte Holcomb got free with Ben Raymond in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nilson Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Croatia FC's Quentin Garza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Velasco in the 75th minute of play. Monte Holcomb's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ben Raymond firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ben Raymond made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monte Holcomb in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes American got a freekick which was hit by Sid Bowser. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Nilson Velasco sped through Croatia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quentin Garza. Monte Holcomb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ben Raymond made a huge save. Ben Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Waddell in the 93rd minute of the match. American were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Croatia FC for a fine match.
