In the 3rd minute, one of Nos Animadverto Totus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nos Animadverto Totus. Teodoro Skinner had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Murray Pierce's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Nos Animadverto Totus booed when Copenhagen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reed Hadley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Skinner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Felton, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Martin Bond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Teodoro Skinner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stan Ivey during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 19 minutes into the match, Copenhagen FC's goalkeeper Chuck Matlock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gordon Duffy. Gordon Duffy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Chuck Matlock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chuck Matlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Brannon in the 25th minute of the match. Teodoro Skinner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Bond's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Martin Bond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Nos Animadverto Totus got a freekick which was hit by King Stinson. Chuck Matlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Brannon, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Gordon Duffy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Matlock having to interfere. If Gordon Duffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Copenhagen FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Percy Gallardo hit a great ball. Gordon Duffy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chuck Matlock firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jeff Brannon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Matlock having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Bond made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Nos Animadverto Totus's Waylon Glover got a free kick in the 51st minute. Chuck Matlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Duffy, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Reed Hadley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copenhagen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nos Animadverto Totus the free kick. A collision led to Copenhagen FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Reed Hadley hit a great ball. The supporters of Copenhagen FC booed when Nos Animadverto Totus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Thomason didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Brannon in the 62nd minute of play forced Copenhagen FC's goalkeeper Chuck Matlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Martin Bond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Jeff Brannon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuck Matlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Copenhagen FC's Trevor Bernstein got a free kick in the 69th minute. Chuck Matlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Brannon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nos Animadverto Totus's Jeff Brannon in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Copenhagen FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Gordon Duffy came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Nos Animadverto Totus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gordon Duffy couldn't finish the play. In the 94th match minute, Copenhagen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reed Hadley to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Jeff Brannon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuck Matlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Felton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nos Animadverto Totus fans cheered their team off the field, for while Copenhagen FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
