Billz United's Rhett McKinley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Shipley in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Adrian Dupre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhett McKinley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhett McKinley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Dupre in the 8th minute of the match. Kareem Hinds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Joel Stover tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Valley FC's Tomas Shipley, in the 12th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Valley FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kareem Hinds in the 14th minute of play forced Valley FC's goalkeeper Joel Stover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Tomas Shipley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rhett McKinley. Billz United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Shipley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Billz United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rhett McKinley should have stopped the shot. Rhett McKinley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Shipley, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Billz United's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Dupre came free, but Rhett McKinley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kareem Hinds was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Darell McCabe in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Billz United's Dillon Yarbrough. The audience was convinced that Kareem Hinds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Stover was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Billz United's Connor Swenson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Adrian Dupre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhett McKinley having to interfere. Joel Stover showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kareem Hinds in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Adrian Dupre made a precise shot to the right of Rhett McKinley. Billz United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 64th minute, Dillon Yarbrough ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Stover was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 71 minutes into the match, Billz United's Kareem Hinds sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Stover narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dillon Yarbrough during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Valley FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valley FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
