A collision led to Nos Animadverto Totus getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Benjamin Hartley hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Brady Slater sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Skinner skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reuben McClelland in the 26th minute of play forced Nos Animadverto Totus's goalkeeper Teodoro Skinner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reuben McClelland in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Skinner saved Nos Animadverto Totus from getting behind. Benjamin Hartley got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 46th match minute, Nos Animadverto Totus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Hartley to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gordon Duffy made a kick off. Reuben McClelland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Skinner having to interfere.
