A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Nilson Velasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rhett McKinley. Nilson Velasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in American's zone, Nicky Benavides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ben Raymond came out of the goal and Nicky Benavides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sal Norris scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rhett McKinley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Dillon Yarbrough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rhett McKinley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Velasco in the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as American's Nilson Velasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rhett McKinley. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kareem Hinds was the one to do the kick off. Billz United's Nicky Benavides managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristopher Candido in the 56 minute of the game. Billz United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilson Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
