Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tommie Boston made the kick off which started today's match. Sanford Reynolds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Velasco in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Sal Norris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sanford Reynolds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Brandt's late challenge caught a American's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Brandt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jacksonville boose getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fred Brandt hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes, American's Sid Bowser shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sanford Reynolds came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in American reached it. After some careless play in the Jacksonville boose defense, Jarrett Helms kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sanford Reynolds. The Jacksonville boose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sanford Reynolds should have stopped the shot. Sid Bowser kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Nilson Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sanford Reynolds was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Sanford Reynolds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarrett Helms, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Cantrell during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andreas Cantrell hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jacksonville boose's Sanford Reynolds played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Velasco in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Jarrett Helms made a precise shot to the right of Sanford Reynolds. Jacksonville boose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Sanford Reynolds didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sal Norris went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Jacksonville boose defense, Nilson Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sanford Reynolds. The Jacksonville boose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sanford Reynolds should have stopped the shot. Sanford Reynolds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarrett Helms in the 47th minute of the match.
After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tommie Boston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacksonville boose's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommie Boston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Raymond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elton Simmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sid Bowser kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tommie Boston might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ben Raymond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommie Boston ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Velasco got free with Sanford Reynolds in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sanford Reynolds made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Abe Thomas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Velasco in the 68th minute of play forced Jacksonville boose's goalkeeper Sanford Reynolds to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Jarrett Helms had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sanford Reynolds. Jacksonville boose's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarrett Helms was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 73rd minute, Wilfred Arnold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Velasco got free with Sanford Reynolds in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Elton Simmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the American defense, Elton Simmons kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ben Raymond. The American fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ben Raymond should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Jarrett Helms ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sanford Reynolds was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. In the 87th minute, Elton Simmons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Jacksonville boose's goalkeeper Sanford Reynolds had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abe Thomas. 89 minutes into the game, Jarrett Helms recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sanford Reynolds. Jarrett Helms showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. In the 93rd play minute Nilson Velasco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sanford Reynolds. 1-11. When the match was over American could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jacksonville boose throughout the match.
