After 14 played minutes Croatia FC got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Washington. When Croatia FC's Oscar Booth in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Teodoro Skinner guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Gordon Duffy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Teodoro Skinner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quentin Garza made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Gordon Duffy sent off a good shot on target. When Benjamin Hartley fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nos Animadverto Totus's protests and gave Benjamin Hartley a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Croatia FC booed when Nos Animadverto Totus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Hartley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Croatia FC's Quentin Garza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Brannon in the 41st minute of play. Monte Holcomb struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Teodoro Skinner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croatia FC. The audience was convinced that Jeff Brannon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quentin Garza was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Duffy in the 62nd minute of play forced Croatia FC's goalkeeper Quentin Garza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes, King Stinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nos Animadverto Totus and the Croatia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, King Stinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Monte Holcomb came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Croatia FC fans jumped to their feet. Jeff Brannon scored 1-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quentin Garza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quentin Garza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Duffy in the 81st minute of the match. Quentin Garza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Brannon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monte Holcomb struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Teodoro Skinner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croatia FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gordon Duffy in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quentin Garza saved Croatia FC from getting behind. Many of Croatia FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Croatia FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Nos Animadverto Totus were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
