Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Martin Bond got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Fred Felton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Domenic Franklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuck Matlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Matlock having to interfere. Copenhagen FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Stanton Collier scored to the left of an out of position Chuck Matlock, making the score, 1-0. Randell Light hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Zapata who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Chuck Matlock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 16 played minutes Copenhagen FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Barrios. After 24 minutes, Reinaldo Zapata made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Copenhagen FC's Chuck Matlock tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaldo Zapata scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chuck Matlock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Domenic Franklin came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Kathleen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenic Franklin couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Reinaldo Zapata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chuck Matlock was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Reinaldo Zapata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chuck Matlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Zapata, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Reinaldo Zapata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reinaldo Zapata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Copenhagen FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Martin Bond hit a great ball. Domenic Franklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Matlock having to interfere. If Reinaldo Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Zapata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chuck Matlock having to make a save. Martin Bond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Stahl having to interfere. Reinaldo Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Felton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dario Stahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ward Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Martin Bond kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Reinaldo Zapata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copenhagen FC's Chuck Matlock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Domenic Franklin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kathleen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenic Franklin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuck Matlock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reinaldo Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Domenic Franklin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kathleen AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copenhagen FC the free kick. The supporters of Copenhagen FC booed when Kathleen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenic Franklin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
