If Jeff Brannon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenic Franklin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Skinner having to make a save. In the 38th minute Thanh Crabtree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Skinner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Kathleen AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gordon Duffy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stanton Collier's late challenge caught a Nos Animadverto Totus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanton Collier helped the player get up and apologised. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Zapata made a kick off. Jeff Brannon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Stahl having to interfere. Kathleen AFC's Dario Stahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Duffy in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kathleen AFC's Stanton Collier got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Jeff Brannon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nos Animadverto Totus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeff Brannon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Stahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Brannon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Benjamin Hartley fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nos Animadverto Totus's protests and gave Benjamin Hartley a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kathleen AFC booed when Nos Animadverto Totus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Hartley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nos Animadverto Totus's Teodoro Skinner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenic Franklin in the 70th minute of play. Jeff Brannon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gordon Duffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Nos Animadverto Totus's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reinaldo Zapata fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
