Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marshall Yost started the match with the kick off. Green Valley's Joshua Whitney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Scott in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elijah McCain in the 8th minute of play forced Hancock FC's goalkeeper Alfred Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hancock FC's zone, Marshall Yost stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Lang came out of the goal and Marshall Yost tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Green Valley's Kenny Farr got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes, Ricky May made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Green Valley's Joshua Whitney tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joshua Whitney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trey Burrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Hancock FC were awarded a corner. Thad Wong went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Thad Wong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joshua Whitney quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Yost in the 20th minute of play forced Hancock FC's goalkeeper Alfred Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohammad Parish kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ricky Mays short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Joshua Whitney to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 27 minutes into the match, Green Valley's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky May came free, but Joshua Whitney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricky May blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Whitney having to make a save. Kenny Farr hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Green Valley's zone, Ricky May stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joshua Whitney came out of the goal and Ricky May tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, Hancock FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Hendrickson to maneuver through the defense. Green Valley's Joshua Whitney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Green Valley from getting a goal against them. Hancock FC's Ricky May got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joshua Whitney made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Trey Burrell sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricky May was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Hancock FC's Trey Burrell got a free kick in the 50th minute. Ricky May's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joshua Whitney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elijah Brock in the 54th minute of play forced Green Valley's goalkeeper Joshua Whitney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hancock FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Green Valley's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thad Wong took the corner. In the 57th minute, Trey Burrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eddy Crane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Whitney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricky May, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mohammad Parish's late challenge caught a Green Valley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohammad Parish helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Green Valley booed when Hancock FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Parish didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joshua Whitney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky May in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Marshall Yost cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfred Lang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Ricky May's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joshua Whitney was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Hancock FC's Alfred Lang got control of the ball when Elijah McCain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute Marshall Yost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Green Valley got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Crane. 89 minutes into the match, Green Valley's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky May came free, but Joshua Whitney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Dale Scott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joshua Whitney. Green Valley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Scott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Hancock FC's Ricky May in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Valley's goalie prevented a goal.
