Stevie Levy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berry Cummins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Orion SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sherwood Starks was slow to take the kick. During this time Breckinridge AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Breckinridge AFC's Sherwood Starks to fire away a dangerous shot which Stevie Levy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Orion SC's Theron Boles got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berry Cummins in the 6th minute of play forced Orion SC's goalkeeper Stevie Levy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Levine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Gray having to interfere. Denny Gray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffrey Stoddard in the 15th minute of play. Woodrow Farrell kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Timmy Flanagan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stevie Levy having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Breckinridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sherwood Starks to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Geoffrey Stoddard sped through Breckinridge AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denny Gray. The supporters of Orion SC booed when Breckinridge AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickey Matlock didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Quinton Dumas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Woodrow Farrell fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orion SC's protests and gave Woodrow Farrell a yellow card for diving instead. Woodrow Farrell hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Orion SC's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Flanagan came free, but Stevie Levy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Geoffrey Stoddard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denny Gray was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Orion SC's Geoffrey Stoddard got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quinton Dumas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Denny Gray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geoffrey Stoddard to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Orion SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Woodrow Farrell to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berry Cummins got free with Stevie Levy in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Desmond Werner hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes Breckinridge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Berry Cummins. After 56 minutes, Geoffrey Stoddard made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Breckinridge AFC's Denny Gray tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denny Gray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Small, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Stoddard in the 67th minute of play forced Breckinridge AFC's goalkeeper Denny Gray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Breckinridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Flanagan to maneuver through the defense. Quinton Dumas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Denny Gray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orion SC. After 76th play minutes Geoffrey Stoddard shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Denny Gray and just under the crossbar into goal. Geoffrey Stoddard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Denny Gray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orion SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
