After a rather tough play, Oprescuville's Albert Finley got a free kick in the 11th minute. Alex Westbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.C. Davis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oprescuville's Chico Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Crusher in the 29th minute of play. D.J. Dale charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed D.J. Dale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Monmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by D.J. Dale to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, J.C. Davis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. J.C. Davis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Westbrook having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling J.C. Davis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Westbrook prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Westbrook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.C. Davis in the 40th minute of play. Monmouth's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when J.C. Davis scored to the left of an out of position Alex Westbrook, making the score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

J.C. Davis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Westbrook having to interfere. J.C. Davis took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Westbrook. Alex Westbrook dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. J.C. Davis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Westbrook having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when J.C. Davis came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Westbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.C. Davis in the 67th minute of the match. Alex Westbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from J.C. Davis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaun Herndon during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Monmouth booed when Oprescuville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun Herndon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Westbrook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. J.C.
