Alistair Kruse's late challenge caught a Northview FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alistair Kruse helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UC Berleley getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Alistair Kruse hit a great ball. If Karahan Uçkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathon Burrell hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Northview FC's Jeffrey Huffman in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 30 minutes of play, UC Berleley's Leopoldo Sesuldo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Terrence Grimes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, UC Berleley's Macías Pajazo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Terrence Grimes made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Leopoldo Sesuldo sent off a good shot on target. After 42 played minutes UC Berleley got a freekick which was hit by Karahan Uçkan. 46 minutes into the game, Wilton Stringer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northview FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UC Berleley the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Micah Strange made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Northview FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monroe Gilliam to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Yu in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Terrence Grimes saved Northview FC from getting behind. Terrence Grimes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karahan Uçkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave UC Berleley a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Macías Pajazo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Northview FC's Terrence Grimes. 5-0.
