The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Monmouth got a freekick which was hit by Werner Vickers. Jeffrey Huffman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Alex Westbrook made a huge save. Alberto Chappelle kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Monmouth getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alexis Ferrell hit a great ball. Alex Westbrook was a little too slow when Micah Strange got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Jonathon Burrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mason Stafford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alex Westbrook breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Micah Strange came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monmouth's Alexis Ferrell got a free kick in the 34th minute. Micah Strange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alex Westbrook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes, Northview FC's Mason Stafford shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Westbrook came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Northview FC reached it. 47 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeffrey Huffman. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Crusher to strike the kick off in the second half. Claude Helton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeffrey Huffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Micah Strange made a precise shot to the right of Alex Westbrook. Monmouth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 63 minutes, Alberto Chappelle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monmouth and the Northview FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Chappelle kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Micah Strange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Crusher helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Crusher hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, Northview FC's Jeffrey Huffman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Westbrook was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Micah Strange came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Huffman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Westbrook having to interfere. Shaun Boston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marvin McClendon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Northview FC were the better team. Northview FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
