After 19 minutes, Olin Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colorado Springs F.C. and the Lincroft players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Stafford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryant Weir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Art Randall made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Enoch Mallory sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when A.J. Murdock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Stafford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lincroft's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
