When Northview FC's Micah Strange in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Breckinridge AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Northview FC booed when Breckinridge AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Ivy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Jeffrey Huffman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Micah Strange sped through Breckinridge AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denny Gray. Breckinridge AFC's Denny Gray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey Huffman in the 24th minute of play. Jeffrey Huffman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Gray having to interfere. If Jeffrey Huffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Micah Strange stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Breckinridge AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mason Stafford was slow to take the kick. During this time Northview FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Northview FC's Mason Stafford to fire away a dangerous shot which Denny Gray despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Desmond Werner hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jeffrey Huffman took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denny Gray. Denny Gray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Teddy Winter fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breckinridge AFC's protests and gave Teddy Winter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Teddy Winter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Breckinridge AFC's zone, Mason Stafford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denny Gray came out of the goal and Mason Stafford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norman McLeod during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Breckinridge AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Norman McLeod hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Shaun Boston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breckinridge AFC's Denny Gray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Breckinridge AFC from getting a goal against them. Wilton Stringer charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilton Stringer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Northview FC's Wilton Stringer got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Breckinridge AFC's Denny Gray got control of the ball when Micah Strange tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denny Gray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeffrey Huffman went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to Breckinridge AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Homer Gilliam hit a great ball. Northview FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
