With a couple of smart ball manuevers František Spousta in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Cronin saved Apple Inc. from getting behind. After 7 minutes of play, FC Schalke 04's Benedykt Cwenar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Cronin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, František Spousta notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Apple Inc.'s Tobias Cronin. Tobias Cronin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alec Kenny got free with Gilles Eichenberger in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Cronin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from František Spousta, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. František Spousta made a great header on FC Schalke 04's corner, it was just that Apple Inc.'s Tobias Cronin managed to reach the ball for a save. 26 minutes into the match, Benedykt Cwenar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Cronin. Apple Inc.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedykt Cwenar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Benedykt Cwenar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tobias Cronin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by František Spousta in the 30th minute of play forced Apple Inc.'s goalkeeper Tobias Cronin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Best struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gilles Eichenberger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apple Inc.. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Alec Kenny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apple Inc.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alec Kenny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilles Eichenberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, František Spousta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Tobias Cronin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41stth minute of the game Benedykt Cwenar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apple Inc.'s Tobias Cronin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 minutes, Benedykt Cwenar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Schalke 04 and the Apple Inc. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedykt Cwenar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The Apple Inc. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Schalke 04 were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alec Kenny to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Riho Hindpere sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Cronin skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute, Johnnie Ciauri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 72 played minutes Apple Inc. got a freekick which was hit by Johnnie Ciauri. In the 74th minute Johnnie Ciauri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilles Eichenberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Cronin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan Seay in the 76th minute of the match. Apple Inc.'s Tobias Cronin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Apple Inc. from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the game, FC Schalke 04's Benedykt Cwenar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee ignored Apple Inc.'s protests and gave Johnnie Ciauri a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Apple Inc. got a freekick which was hit by Johnnie Ciauri. After 87 played minutes Apple Inc. got a freekick which was hit by Alec Kenny. Tobias Cronin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tuan Seay. When Erik Best fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apple Inc.'s protests and gave Erik Best a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Apple Inc.'s Erik Best got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Schalke 04 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
