The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Gerard Shields was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raritan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winchester the free kick. A collision led to Raritan getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gerard Shields hit a great ball. Shayne Witherspoon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Long in the 5th minute of the match. Noah Reece sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Raritan's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Herrera came free, but Shayne Witherspoon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerrod Patel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noah Reece went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Shayne Witherspoon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ari Beam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Jospeh Price shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shayne Witherspoon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Raritan defense, Paul Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shayne Witherspoon. The Raritan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shayne Witherspoon should have stopped the shot. Shayne Witherspoon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jospeh Price in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Boyd Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winchester's Jerrod Patel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raritan's Shayne Witherspoon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jospeh Price in the 37th minute of play. Noah Reece fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Patel having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Raritan's Boyd Santana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boyd Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gerard Shields left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raritan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 57 minutes into the match, Raritan's Boyd Santana broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Noah Reece sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Paul Herrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shayne Witherspoon. Raritan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Herrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The supporters of Winchester booed when Raritan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Gallegos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Porter Haywood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raritan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Porter Haywood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Jospeh Price shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shayne Witherspoon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Winchester got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Whitman. The supporters of Raritan booed when Winchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ari Beam didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Boyd Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerrod Patel was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Sheldon Nichols was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winchester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raritan the free kick. A collision led to Winchester getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sheldon Nichols hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Porter Haywood during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Porter Haywood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyd Santana in the 90th minute of play forced Winchester's goalkeeper Jerrod Patel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Braun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerrod Patel. Winchester's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Raritan fully deserved thier win.
