Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when František Spousta made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers František Spousta in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyron Potter saved North Cape May from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmitt Hamm during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 6 minutes into the game, Theo Crum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Cape May's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Schalke 04 the free kick. After 6 played minutes North Cape May got a freekick which was hit by Theo Crum. František Spousta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of FC Schalke 04 booed when North Cape May was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tad Segura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Benedykt Cwenar managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Schalke 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedykt Cwenar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyron Potter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. František Spousta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyron Potter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Cwenar in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the North Cape May defense, František Spousta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tyron Potter. The North Cape May fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tyron Potter should have stopped the shot. A collision led to North Cape May getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Aidan Haynes hit a great ball. Gilles Eichenberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aidan Haynes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes FC Schalke 04's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Theo Crum who took care of the corner kick. The corner led North Cape May's Theo Crum to fire away a dangerous shot which Gilles Eichenberger despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If František Spousta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Schalke 04's Gilles Eichenberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aidan Haynes in the 28th minute of play. Tyron Potter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from František Spousta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Emmitt Hamm was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. Benedykt Cwenar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyron Potter having to interfere. Van Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Eichenberger having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, František Spousta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tyron Potter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tyron Potter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Cwenar in the 46th minute of the match. Tyron Potter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of František Spousta's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After 58 minutes, Aidan Haynes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Cape May and the FC Schalke 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. North Cape May's Tyron Potter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by František Spousta in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Riho Hindpere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Schalke 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riho Hindpere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tyron Potter was a little too slow when Riho Hindpere got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-3. Tad Segura's late challenge caught a FC Schalke 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tad Segura helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, North Cape May was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tad Segura to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riho Hindpere in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyron Potter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to North Cape May getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Raymond Mullins hit a great ball. Tuan Seay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FC Schalke 04's František Spousta in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Cape May's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute František Spousta saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. When FC Schalke 04's František Spousta in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Cape May's goalie prevented a goal. If Riho Hindpere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, František Spousta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tyron Potter. František Spousta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When the final whistle sounded FC Schalke 04 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than North Cape May.
