Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jospeh Price started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Winchester getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Paul Herrera hit a great ball. 3 minutes into the game, František Spousta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jerrod Patel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. František Spousta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jerrod Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, FC Schalke 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Barnett to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Guillermo Willis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Schalke 04's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winchester the free kick. After 11 played minutes FC Schalke 04 got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Willis. In the 13th minute, Ari Beam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riho Hindpere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jerrod Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Winchester's Paul Herrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilles Eichenberger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper Gilles Eichenberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Herrera. 21 minutes into the game, FC Schalke 04's František Spousta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerrod Patel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper Gilles Eichenberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Herrera. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nick Long during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Schalke 04 booed when Winchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Long didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Winchester's Ari Beam got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Riho Hindpere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jerrod Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jospeh Price fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Eichenberger having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Winchester got a freekick which was hit by Nick Long. Tuan Seay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerrod Patel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of František Spousta's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 54th minute Riho Hindpere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerrod Patel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, František Spousta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerrod Patel made an important save on a dangerous shot by František Spousta in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute Paul Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilles Eichenberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerrod Patel was a little too slow when František Spousta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Herrera in the 67th minute of play forced FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper Gilles Eichenberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling František Spousta in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerrod Patel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jospeh Price fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Eichenberger having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers František Spousta in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerrod Patel saved Winchester from getting behind. Jospeh Price received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gilles Eichenberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, František Spousta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When František Spousta came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC Schalke 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that František Spousta couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Winchester's Jerrod Patel got control of the ball when Mel Hewitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. František Spousta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilles Eichenberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Benedykt Cwenar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Patel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Winchester's Elvis Cohen got a free kick in the 94th minute. Mel Hewitt missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jerrod Patel right hand side.
