Trevor Brady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tyron Potter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Kristofer Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pickens's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristofer Crowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyron Potter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of North Cape May booed when Pickens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Roach didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aidan Haynes in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brandon Webber saved Pickens from getting behind. Pickens's Brandon Webber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Pickens from getting a goal against them. Pickens's Trevor Brady got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trevor Brady recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Van Schumacher might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brandon Webber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Van Schumacher ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Sherwood Stevens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the game, North Cape May's Van Schumacher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brandon Webber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Raymond Mullins charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raymond Mullins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raymond Mullins kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Trevor Brady managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pickens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trevor Brady was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Kristofer Crowe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tyron Potter was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

Theo Crum charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theo Crum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The attack was good, but when Trevor Brady in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 62nd minute Trevor Brady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyron Potter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristofer Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Kristofer Crowe came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pickens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristofer Crowe couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Trevor Brady got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trevor Brady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyron Potter having to interfere. After a rather tough play, North Cape May's Bernie Mathis got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aidan Haynes in the 74th minute of play forced Pickens's goalkeeper Brandon Webber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Aidan Haynes managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Cape May's supporters rose to their feet, but Aidan Haynes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Webber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kristofer Crowe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 86th playminute. Tyron Potter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor Brady, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Van Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Webber having to interfere. Pickens were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
