Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jospeh Price started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jerrod Patel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Carrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Orlando Barnes took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerrod Patel. Jerrod Patel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Winchester's Jospeh Price slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sidney Orozco. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. Jonathan Whitman kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Abraham McKay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerrod Patel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Winchester's goal looked a bit too open when Rolland Lindsey came free, but Jerrod Patel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolland Lindsey to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC FORTUNA booed when Winchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Long didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolland Lindsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidney Orozco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Herrera in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolland Lindsey in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerrod Patel saved Winchester from getting behind. The supporters of FC FORTUNA booed when Winchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Mallory didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Abraham McKay from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Jerrod Patel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winchester's goalkeeper Jerrod Patel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC FORTUNA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
