Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jamal Cramer started the match with the kick off. Warner Weeks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Armendariz in the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ara Arakelyan during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ara Arakelyan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, one of Borussia Dortmund:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borussia Dortmund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Witwicki in the 11th minute of play forced Houlton's goalkeeper Warner Weeks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borussia Dortmund's Spencer Shearer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Cramer in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Matvey Izvolskiy. Pawel Witwicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Matvey Izvolskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Pawel Witwicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Dortmund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pawel Witwicki hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Borussia Dortmund's Spencer Shearer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Cramer in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Borussia Dortmund got a corner. Houlton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matvey Izvolskiy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Matvey Izvolskiy made a great header on Borussia Dortmund's corner, it was just that Houlton's Warner Weeks managed to reach the ball for a save. Silas Corbett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Spencer Shearer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Jamal Cramer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pawel Witwicki to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matvey Izvolskiy to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Matvey Izvolskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pawel Witwicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Witwicki. After a rather tough play, Houlton's Alfredo Cruz got a free kick in the 61st minute. Pawel Witwicki struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Warner Weeks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. Borussia Dortmund's Pawel Witwicki got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pawel Witwicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pawel Witwicki in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Warner Weeks saved Houlton from getting behind. Alfredo Cruz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Pawel Witwicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warner Weeks having to interfere. Matvey Izvolskiy might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Warner Weeks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matvey Izvolskiy ran back to his position shaking his head. Borussia Dortmund played a much better game than Houlton and deserved their victory. The Houlton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
