When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Trevor Brady put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dwayne Beatty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor Brady in the 6th minute of play forced Pulaski's goalkeeper Dwayne Beatty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pulaski's zone, Kristofer Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dwayne Beatty came out of the goal and Kristofer Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Trevor Brady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pulaski's zone, Kristofer Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dwayne Beatty came out of the goal and Kristofer Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pulaski's goalkeeper Dwayne Beatty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pulaski's zone, Kristofer Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dwayne Beatty came out of the goal and Kristofer Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terry Root received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Brandon Webber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pickens booed when Pulaski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winfred Keenan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristofer Crowe took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dwayne Beatty. Dwayne Beatty dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Terry Root received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Brandon Webber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trevor Brady struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Dwayne Beatty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pickens. After 40 played minutes Pulaski got a freekick which was hit by Jerrod Foreman. In the 46th minute, Kristofer Crowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trevor Brady was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Tyrell McIntosh lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Dwayne Beatty. When Trevor Brady came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Pickens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trevor Brady couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Trevor Brady dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dwayne Beatty, 0-4. Dwayne Beatty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Brady in the 67th minute of play. Kristofer Crowe struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Dwayne Beatty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pickens. Dwayne Beatty stood somewhat misplaced when Trevor Brady came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 70 minute. Dwayne Beatty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trevor Brady's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Pulaski's Dwayne Beatty proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Pulaski from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Pulaski's Dwayne Beatty got control of the ball when Kristofer Crowe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 minutes, Tyrell McIntosh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pickens and the Pulaski players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pulaski booed when Pickens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrell McIntosh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pickens players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
