Ellsworth South FC were furious when Derek Pulliam was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 29th minute, one of Ellsworth South FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ellsworth South FC. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC. Ted McCall stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kris Westbrook. 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Emmanuel Finch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kris Westbrook narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ellsworth South FC's Jose Hooper got a free kick in the 36th minute. Earl Bullock charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Earl Bullock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Earl Bullock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

A collision led to Ellsworth South FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Winford Goff hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Finch in the 52nd minute of play forced Ellsworth South FC's goalkeeper Kris Westbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Carson McPherson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ellsworth South FC the free kick. After 54 played minutes Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC got a freekick which was hit by Carson McPherson. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Johnathan Stubbs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC from getting a goal against them. During the 66th minute of the match Carson McPherson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carson McPherson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carson McPherson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brett Kohler in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnathan Stubbs saved Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Johnathan Stubbs got control of the ball when Earl Bullock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emmanuel Finch took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kris Westbrook. Kris Westbrook dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Brett Kohler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Earl Bullock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathan Stubbs having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Emmanuel Finch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kris Westbrook narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
