Devin Purvis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted McCall in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Carson McPherson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Devin Purvis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuel Finch in the 16th minute of play. Quintin McAlpin charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quintin McAlpin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Emmanuel Finch fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's protests and gave Emmanuel Finch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Finch to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quintin McAlpin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Lucas Rowell got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Omar Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermuda Dunes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Johnson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnathan Stubbs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bermuda Dunes FC's much stronger midfield.
