Kris Westbrook made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darrell Wilkerson in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Suruçspor's goal looked a bit too open when Winford Goff came free, but Ronnie Lawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Art Christie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ellsworth South FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Brett Kohler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ronnie Lawson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kris Westbrook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradly Raines in the 19th minute of play. A hard shot 21 in the game by Bradly Raines from a close distance when the talented Kris Westbrook managed to make a qualified save. Ellsworth South FC's players were relieved. Ronnie Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Kohler in the 23rd minute of play. Brett Kohler struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ronnie Lawson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ellsworth South FC. Suruçspor's Leif Morgan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Donny Small in the 29 minute of the game. Ronnie Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Christie in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradly Raines in the 35th minute of play forced Ellsworth South FC's goalkeeper Kris Westbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradly Raines received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kris Westbrook came out and tried to block the shot, but Bradly Raines slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 39th minute. Kris Westbrook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradly Raines in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bradly Raines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Suruçspor's goalkeeper Ronnie Lawson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brett Kohler. Todd Neff was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. Kris Westbrook came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Suruçspor's Stephan Rowley. But to his dismay, Stephan Rowley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Ronnie Lawson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Art Christie, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Morgan in the 71st minute of play forced Ellsworth South FC's goalkeeper Kris Westbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darrell Wilkerson took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kris Westbrook. The referee showed Davis Terrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Davis Terrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeramy Sims took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kris Westbrook. Kris Westbrook dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. After some careless play in the Suruçspor defense, Luciano Storr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronnie Lawson. The Suruçspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronnie Lawson should have stopped the shot. Tuan Winkler kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Suruçspor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
