Nick Corbin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Kris Westbrook made a huge save. Nick Corbin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Westbrook having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Ellsworth South FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donny Small to maneuver through the defense. Kris Westbrook acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cobi Talbot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brett Kohler to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nene Fc's Brady Flynn in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ellsworth South FC's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the game, Nene Fc's Bryce Grace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kris Westbrook made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Nene Fc booed when Ellsworth South FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donny Small didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kris Westbrook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Corbin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Ellsworth South FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Corbin came free, but Kris Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kris Westbrook stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Corbin's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Von Woodson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brett Kohler in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ellsworth South FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vincenzo Hicks came free, but Kris Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nick Corbin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Nick Corbin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kris Westbrook was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brady Flynn in the 79th minute of play forced Ellsworth South FC's goalkeeper Kris Westbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donny Small hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Kris Westbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brady Flynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Von Woodson was a little too slow when Art Christie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Nene Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ellsworth South FC:s goal. Jose Hooper placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Kris Westbrook came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nene Fc's Brady Flynn. But to his dismay, Brady Flynn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Brady Flynn struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Kris Westbrook didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nene Fc. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nene Fc fully deserved thier win.
