In the 2nd match minute, Larkspur AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alistair Dixon to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fresamex FC's zone, Landon Mathews stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hunter Mackey came out of the goal and Landon Mathews tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jessie Armenta in the 12th minute of play forced Larkspur AFC's goalkeeper Terrance Blum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Larkspur AFC's zone, Edmund Ali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terrance Blum came out of the goal and Edmund Ali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hunter Mackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Kirby in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Fresamex FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Felipe Ventura hit a great ball. Percy Stafford kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Felipe Ventura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Larkspur AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jessie Armenta came free, but Terrance Blum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hunter Mackey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Landon Mathews in the 35th minute of play. If Landon Mathews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Alexander Kirby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hunter Mackey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Landon Mathews made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Fresamex FC's goal looked a bit too open when Landon Mathews came free, but Hunter Mackey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fresamex FC's Jessie Armenta in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 65th minute, Larkspur AFC's Dante Corona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hunter Mackey. Hunter Mackey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 67th minute Dante Corona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunter Mackey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Ventura struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Terrance Blum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fresamex FC. When Fresamex FC's Robin Perry in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Terrance Blum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Perry, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Landon Mathews in the 85th minute of play forced Fresamex FC's goalkeeper Hunter Mackey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes, Landon Mathews mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larkspur AFC and the Fresamex FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Larkspur AFC's Landon Mathews got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Fresamex FC booed when Larkspur AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ken Hurley didn't get a good kick on the ball.
